APPLETON — The Appleton Library is hosting its first-ever Blooms, Barns, & Books tour 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, July 15, with the library as base, rain or shine. Weaving books, blooms, and some of Appleton’s most historically significant barns, the tour is testament to Cicero’s mantra, “If you have a library and a garden, you have everything you need.” Proceeds will benefit Appleton Library. The tour features: Terra Optima Farm,The 1800s barn of Ruth and Rob Wall, Glendarragh Farm Lavender, Ridgeberry Farm, and Highcroft Farm.
Ticket sales will be available at the Appleton Library and online at bloomsbarnsbooks.brownpapertickets.com and will cost $15 for a single, $25 for a couple or family.
