ELLSWORTH — The Grand continues its weekly CineGrand series of recent well-reviewed films presented on the giant Coastal Eye Care screen with a heartwarming new film “Hearts Beat Loud” about fathers, daughters and rock n’ roll from the writer/director of previous CineGrand favorites “I’ll See You In My Dreams” and “The Hero” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, and a special captioned matinee at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. Widower and aging Brooklyn hipster Frank starts a band with his teenage daughter Sam just before she leaves home to attend college in California. With Nick Offerman (“The Hero,” “Parks and Recreation”), Toni Collette (“Hereditary,” “Muriel’s Wedding”), Ted Danson (“The Good Place,” “Cheers”), Blythe Danner (“I’ll See You In My Dreams,” “Meet The Parents”), Sasha Lane (“American Honey”) and Kiersey Clemons.
