At Morrill Field in Rockland, the fourth-seeded Mariners scored four times with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally for a Class B quarterfinal victory over the No. 5 Hawks.

Ben Ripley’s two-run single provided the winning margin for Oceanside (15-3) after Logan Sheridan and Jack Freeman provided the tying runs with RBI singles.

Titus Kaewthong belted a two-run homer in the first for the Mariners to back relief winner Jack Freeman, who pitched 1 1/3 hitless innings with one strikeout. Michael Dougherty and Matt Waldron had combined to limit Hermon (12-6) to four hits and two earned runs.

Freeman doubled and singled while Logan Sheridan and Ben Ripley each provided two singles for the winners.

Cody Hawes hit a sacrifice fly during a two-run second inning for the Hawks and Kent Johnson rapped a run-scoring double in a two-run third. Jacques Labonte took the loss, allowing nine hits and six runs with four strikeouts and eight walks.
